Neutralize is all about refinement. This structural beauty showcases a doctor bag
frame and a two-toned color scheme, which will fare well with silky
pussy-bow blouses.

Alexander Wang Named Balenciaga Creative Director
ALEXANDER WANG is Balenciaga's new creative director. The New York-based designer will replace Nicolas Ghesquière at the French fashion house, who officially leaves today - after 15 years at the helm.
"I am deeply honored to embark on this new role for a brand and house that I have such great admiration and respect for," said Wang.
Wang will be responsible for the brand's men's, women's and accessories lines. The news comes despite recent rumors that Scottish designer Christopher Kane was in line for the role - reports that were quickly denied by his representatives.
"Balenciaga is an extraordinary fashion house with inexhaustible potential and it is endowed with a priceless heritage," said PPR CEO and chairman François-Henri Pinault. "Alexander Wang will use his creativity and his own research to reinterpret and immortalise the distinctive, modern and extremely innovative style imposed by Cristóbal Balenciaga."
Alexander Wang graduated from New York's Parsons School of Design in 2005 and, following an internship at Teen Vogue, began designing for his eponymous label - which was originally celebrated for its range of fine cashmere knitwear. The designer's first full ready-to-wear collection launched in 2007, shortly followed by diffusion line, T by Alexander Wang, in 2009 - the same year that he was the recipient of the Vogue/CFDA Fashion Fund Award. The 28-year-old opened his debut flagship store in Manhattan in 2011 and is today renowned for his edgy androgynous design aesthetic and luxury accessories.

50 Shades of Teal
The color teal has long been valued for its uniqueness, versatility and ability to impact powerful color combinations. Ancient Persians believed it could ward off evil. Egyptian cultures appreciated this deepened shade of turquoise as an emblem of trust and faithfulness. It reminded Tibetan monks of the enormity of the sea and the sky. For Native Americans, teal was connected to water and fertility, and this lovely, mysterious color offered hope for a prosperous future.
Teal is popular in the fashion world because, like most blues, it looks good on everyone. Even in nature, it is a part of the dress code for the very fashionable male peacock, especially when he is “strutting his stuff.” When added to brown or black, teal lightens the mood slightly and adds a layer of mystery or complexity. Whether worn as a single outfit or an accent, this color somehow adds a level of sophistication and richness to any look. On the other hand, fun-loving teal jeans are one of the popular fashion trends this year.
Jewel colors tell the color story of winter 2012 fashion trends. The focus is richness and depth of tone with sapphire, teal and aquamarine traversing the whole of the blue spectrum.

Pre-Fall 2013: On the contrary
Alexander Wang was showing off his new collection to editors on Monday mere hours after the official word came from Balenciaga that he'd been installed as the brand's new creative director. The designer declined to talk about his plans for the august French house or how he'll manage both labels, but if his demeanor was anxious, the clothes he was shooting for his pre-fall lookbook betrayed none of it. Rock-A-Bility.. pt 2.
What is the first thing one would think when a woman with rock n roll attitude walks by wearing leather from head to toe? Most likely that’s she’s tough. It takes a lot of attitude for a girl to wear leather and not look like a cliché biker chick. So, if you’ve ever wondered how you can wear all this leather but not look too…rock chic, and here is a nice example on how you can just do it. You can give a feminine touch to a very masculine type of fabric.
